Over the summer I have asked just under 100 people a short 5 question questionnaire about couchsurfing. The questions, and the answers.

The ones that said no, I asked them why, and generally they said it was because they weren't travelling people and didn't want to meet strangers when they go on holiday. They treat going away as a holiday and not as travelling.
